This is version 3.14 of TPDB, Turbo Pascal Tools for dBASE. This version contains all of the units from version 3.13 of TPDB recompiled with Turbo Pascal 6.0. Source code to all units except TPDBINDX.TPU is available to all registered users. See the file REGISTER.FRM for details. Included: Docs, Samples and TPU6.0 only :(

TPDB is a toolbox of Turbo Pascal 6.0 units which allow you to access, index, search, read and write database files that were created with dBASE III or III Plus, using 75+ Turbo Pascal procedures and functions written specifically for these purposes, and implementing object-oriented techniques. This toolbox supports multiple data files and associated indexes (NOT dBASE INDEXES !) limited only by available memory and file handles allowed by DOS. Index keys can be up to 254 characters, and can be composed of multiple fields or expressions which evaluate to a string not longer than 254 characters.

The BTP product was born to remove the drudgery from Btrieve programming. BTP includes a number of sound data structures/objects, including these four: TRecMgr, BFile, BFixed, and BFileExt. TRecMgr and BFile are base objects; they are direct descendants of TP6's TObject. BFixed and BFileExt are both direct descendants of BFile.

Модуль для pаботы с Базами Данных фоpмата dBase III. Turbo Pascal 5.5 и Borland/Turbo Pascal 7.0. Данный модуль достаточно долго находился в эксплуатации в pазличных пpогpаммах, pаботающих совместно с дpугими пpогpаммами, написанными на Clipper 5.01, FoxPro 1.5, FoxPro 2.5, FoxPro 2.5a и не содеpжит явных ошибок (не наблюдалось pазpушение стpуктуpы БД)
